LIAISON

  • Each Liaison must have attended the most recent round of NHTA Training to be eligible as a Liaison. Only by attending NHTA Training provided by the NHTA Training Committee will a person be eligible to be a Liaison. (Note: training from another Liaison or Adjudicator will not qualify.)
  • Liaisons are expected to have access to an Internet connected computer in order to access the NHTA Website to input all pertinent information regarding their Theater Company.
  • Liaisons are expected to have a valid email address that they actively review.
  • Liaisons serve as the point of communication to the NHTA for their affiliated Theater Company and to/for their Adjudicators.

 

Liaisons responsibilities regarding Their Theater Company include:

  • *Submit and maintain accurate Production Information: due 60 days prior to Production opening
  • *Submit and maintain accurate Nomination Information: due 7 days prior to Production opening
  • *Maintain all website information regarding their theater company; eg email contacts, company name and address, venue info, adjudicator names and status (primary or back-up)
  • *Maintain accurate Theater Company information (website address, email address, mailing address).
  • *Maintain open and up-to-date communication with the NHTA in a timely manner (eg. Production cancellations, adjudicator drop-outs, changes in status of company or adjudicator, etc…)

 

Liaisons responsibilities regarding Adjudicators fall into two categories:

  • 1) issues regarding their own adjudicators
  • 2) issues regarding other companies’ adjudicators attending their Theater Company’s productions
  •  
  • Regarding their own Adjudicators include:
  • *Ensure that their Adjudicators attend required training
  • *Ensure that their Adjudicators confirm assignments ON THE NHTA WEBSITE
  • *Ensure that their Adjudicators confirm attendance with the producing Theater Company
  • *Ensure that their Adjudicators submit their ballots in a timely manner
  • *Provide assistance to Adjudicators in finding internal replacement Adjudicator
  • *Report any/all problems to the NHTA (late ballots, non-attendance, etc…)
  •  
  • Regarding other Adjudicators attending their Theater Company’s productions include.
  • *Confirm by any means necessary that attending Adjudicators have made reservations to attend.
  • *Provide names and contact information of assigned Adjudicators to your Box Office (or other designated person present at your production) so the attending Adjudicators names can be checked off the list upon arrival at your production and receive their free admission.
  • *Confirm dates that assigned Adjudicators from other Theatre Companies attended your Theater Companies Productions and update the NHTA website with those dates
  • *Report any/all problems to the NHTA (late ballots, non-attendance, etc…)


LIAISON RETRIEVAL OF ADJUDICATION COMMENTS

  • The NHTA relies upon feedback from its participating companies in order to improve upon its training for Adjudicators. While these comments are final, the NHTA welcomes your comments and questions relative to the release of the comments.
  • Only Liaisons can access Adjudicator comments for their adjudicated Productions
  • Liaisons will make no attempt to try an contact any adjudicator to discuss comments even when a comments may suggest that the adjudicator wants a dialogue.
  • Each company can only access comments specific to its own productions. No company has access to the comments of any other companies Production.
  • Individuals other than liaisons may not petition the NHTA to have comments distributed to them. If there is any doubt as to the veracity of the identity of any liaison requesting access to comments, the NHTA will deny access until the company has been contacted and the identity of their liaison confirmed.
  • The previous years Comments are available at the Adjudication website the day after the NHTA Awards Show
  • Comments are viewed by Production
  • Comments can be emailed to you by selecting the Email to Me button
  • NHTA leaves the dissemination of comments at the discretion of each Theater Companies Liaison
  • Each company must make their own determination on the confidentiality and distribution of their comments. The NHTA will not be held responsible for the dispersal of this information once it has been released to the individual company's liaisons.
  • Scores and names of adjudicators are omitted from comments to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the adjudication process. Scores and adjudicator names will not ever be revealed.
